Measure wall-to-wall dimensions and ceiling height, then note doors, windows, skirting, beams and any level changes.

Map the services
Record electrical points, switches, air-conditioning, plumbing and any service that could affect cabinetry, movement or maintenance access.
Photograph the context
Wide room views and close-ups of the proposed wall help the first consultation. Include the approach route if delivery access may be constrained. Final dimensions still require site measurement.
